I LOVE making my own "patterned" paper from pieces of scrap card stock. My go-to pattern for this technique is stripes, because it's quick, easy ... and I love stripes! I took the stripes a bit further this time and turned the paper by 90° , sliced it up again, then glued the strips of paper down once more to create the block pattern you'll see below. All that was left to do is to cut it to a circle shape with a die and my Big Shot. So fun!

- Scraps of red, blue and yellow card stock
- Birthday die from Hero Arts
- Circle dies and Big Shot
- 'Wishes' stamp from Happy Little Stampers
- Craft foam for dimension
- Rhinestones
