You rock : Positive and negative die cuts

Hi there!

I have two fun cards to share today! Well... just because die cutting often leave you with useful left overs!

You Rock - LOVEsvg

You Rock - LOVEsvg

You Rock - LOVEsvg

and the next :

You Rock - LOVEsvg

You Rock - LOVEsvg

You Rock - LOVEsvg

I used :

  • Guitar Free cut file from LOVEsvg
  • Grungy grid stencil from Enmarc (I think)
  • Distress inks
  • Enamel dots
  • Foam dots for dimension
  • Silhouette cameo
  • Label 'you' sentiment from Altenew

For the first card I cut the bottom panel of the guitar (solid) using watercolor paper and added the color with distress inks and the watercolor smooshing technique. I then used the outline die cut of the second card to place and adhere the negative cut pieces on the water colored base.

For the second card I cut a star with my Silhouette cameo, stenciled the distress inks randomly on it and simply layered the black outline of the guitar over the star .

I then added some enamel dots , black die cut stars and stamped sentiment.

Sharing my card at :

AAA cards ~ One corner & optional twist music

CAS mix up  ~ Dimensional die cuts { + stamping + water coloring + stenciling)

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hugs
Hannelie

Awesome cards! You're too clever for words! You could also enter these cards in the Twofer Card Challenge this month. The theme is stars and it requires two cards, but you would have to have a picture of both of them together. These cards are certainly challenge-worthy!!
