Best wishes

Hi there!

We all have one... A bits box... and mine is over flowing at the moment... so I couldn't let this fortnight's challenge at Less is more go by without joining in ! I added a couple of other challenges to make today's card :)

I used :

  • Rose cut with Silhouette cameo (from my bits box - extra one cut when I made this card )
  • Alcohol ink background, also from my bits box, when I experimented with different color combinations of alcohol inks to make this card
  • Sentiment designed in the Silhouette studio using the font DK Hofstad
  • Rhinestones
  • Gold paint marker pen from Roco to "paint" the die cut and sentiment

Challenges:

Less is more ~ Use an item from your bits box

Time out challenges  ~ Warm (using warm colors resembling fire)

The card concept ~ A CAS card inspired by the theme flowers and colors from the inspiration

Thanks for visiting me today!

Have a great week

That's a really elegant, classy and stunning card Hannelie. The gold combination with the beautiful warm colours of the alcohol inks gives it a real richness. I adore how the alcohol inks look like eddies and swirls in water. Fantastic work, and most of it from bits box items too! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx

Your rose die-cut looks so pretty in gold. And it looks especially pretty against your alcohol ink background. Very pretty card!

Those alcohol inks really do look like fire. We have our fire going right now and looks exactly the same!! Beautiful combo with the gold metallic flower and sentiment. And of course they really pop against all that lovely clean white background. Always so happy to see your cards at TIME OUT!!
