Altenew April Challenge : Take 3

Hi there!

It's the last day to enter the Altenew April inspiration challenge ... so I better take a moment to share this card I made earlier this month!

Our two daughters are here for a short visit and I don't want to waste any precious time with them!

Here's a very CAS take on the inspiration photo :

I used:

• Mini-blossoms ~  stamp set floral images
• Birds-of-a-feather-stamp-set ~ Sentiment
• Altenew ink
• Misti and wreath stamping template
• Rhinestones

I was mostly inspired by the colors and the cluster effect of the Hydrangea was the inspiration for the wreath.

Color Throwdown 490 : Guest designer

It is time to share my last card as guest designer for April at Color Throwdown !

I just love the soft pastels... perfect for Spring.

• Silhouette cameo
• Diecut heart
• Sentiment from an old Avery Elle set
• Strips of card stock cut with a paper trimmer to create the striped background

Making baby cards are so much fun... and it's been a while since I made one!

I think the image tells such a beautiful story that a sentiment isn't necessary !

The image was cut twice and layered to add dimension. A touch of pink distress ink to highlight the heart and add interest 💗

Just look at this beautiful picture with fresh green, red and white to inspire your cards this week :

Hi there!

Thanks for popping in to take a look at the sixth card in my closet inspired series !

This time a dress I don't wear so often... more for special occasions... and therefor a celebration card :)

Altenew April Inspiration challenge (take 2)

Hi there!


I promised a card with the leftovers from THIS card ... so here it is !

I used :

• Adore-you-stamp-set ~ Flowers
• Happy-mail ~ Sentiment
• Zig markers for water color smooshing
• Silhouette cameo to cut out the flowers
• Sequins
• Misti
• Versafine black ink

To create the script circle background, I used a mask, made with a die cut circle and stamped the sentiment repeatedly, starting from the center, working it up and down to create a balanced look.

Sending this to the Altenew April inspiration-challenge :)

CASE card for LIM

Hi there!

Less is more gave us a gorgeous card to case this fortnight. A beauty in blue by Aileen  !

Here's my take on the provided inspiration :

I used :

• Cutting file from Silhouette store : Flower bouquet by Jamie Koay (Edited : I will add the design ID as soon as I am able to access my account with designs... there seems to be some kind of problem at the moment... for those who asked :)
• Distress ink for water coloring
• Sentiment from Altenew
• Silhouette cameo
• Folk Art silver glitter glue

I focused on the cluster of blue flowers and incorporated the silver glitter from Aileen's diecut sentiment to my die cut flower.
