Protea inspired

Hi there!

The first thing I noticed when I saw the photo at Inspired by all the little things, was the Proteas!

The Protea is South-Africa's national flower and I LOVE it. Of course I had to play along!

I used a digital stamp of a protea and colored it with my Zigs.

Added a kraft die cut frame, embossed BG and sentiment from a Hampton arts set.

Just before I go... Here's a photo of the king protea I took some time ago on a visit to South-Africa.

Thanks for looking!

Hugs
Hannelie

I did not know about Proteas. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful card featuring them. I had to look up a little more about them, and I found that they represent change and hope, which makes them even more magnificent.

I learned something today. I'd never heard of Proteas, Hannelie, but they sure are a great looking flower. Your coloring and arrangment of them is terrific.

Gorgeous! It's nice to see flowers from other regions. I haven't seen these before, but reminds me of Passion Flower which grows like crazy here. Similar, but different. You did a beautiful job recreating it on your card.
