Hi there!
I think I am done making Christmas for this year... so I am joing Altenew's year in review challenge.
I sat on the side for the most part of the year, looking and wanting to play along but couldn't because I didn't own any Altenew stamps... well this is no longer necessary because I started 'investing' 😉.
Which is a good thing, because this month's challenge offers 10 past inspiration photo's from February right through to November.
I picked Therese's March inspiration photo. I just LOVE the beautiful green & pink combined with graphic geometric elements of the trimmed 'maze'.
Inspired by the heart shape, and colors, I created this one layer thank you card.
A closer look:
I used the Brush Art Floral set and masked an area with a die cut heart shape.
After stamping , I removed the mask and stamp the sentiment. I love the look as is and felt it didn't need any embellishments.
The sentiment is from the Floral Frame set.
This photo has so many hidden inspiration elements, I made another card, also inspired by this photo, which I will share tomorrow 👀
Thanks for looking!
Hugs
Hannelie

Great investment, Hannelie. I love Altenew stamps, and also their inks. Your card is beautiful and portrays the color and feel of the photo using your CAS style.
This is beautiful, Hannelie, and gives me some ideas for Valentine cards. I think I am finally done making Christmas cards, too. Altogether, I think I made about 85.
Those Altenew stamps have been calling to me. What a brilliant idea for these roses. Clever!
What a pretty take on Therese's picture, Hannelie! Love you shifted the heart slightly to left!
Wat leuk om de bloemen in een hart te "stoppen"! Is toch weer ets heel anders met die mooie bloemenstempels... Groetjes, Gerrina
