Hi there!
Before we get to this week's challenge... we have a birthday in the house today!
Happy birthday to Jaydee !
Jaydee is also the host of this week's CAS challenge at The Paper Players ... so hop over to Jaydee's blog to leave her some love on her special day :)
One of the things I miss living here in the UAE, is 4 defined seasons. We love Winter here, because it's the only time you are able to venture outside. Summer gets incredibly hot and humid and is the indoor season. No Spring. No Autumn. That's it!
I remember from a very young age in South-Africa, when you see the first peach blossoms, you can start to pack away the warm Winter's clothes and get ready for warmer weather.
That's what my card is all about... those memories!
The branch and flowers were cut using a die from Sizzix. The sentiment is from the loving thoughts set by Cas-ual fridays stamps.
I am joining 2 other challenges with my inspiration card:
Addicted to CAS ~ Delicate
&
Less is more ~ what you see outside your window (this is wishful thinking ;)
Thanks for visiting me today!
Hope to see you play along at the Paper players!
Hannelie

Hannelie, CAS cards are your speciality! You make it look so easy, This is absolutely gorgeous! I love those pink blooms! XX
Gorgeous Hannelie! It's funny how those of us living in chillier climes often hanker after warmer weather, yet forget that in places such as UAE the sunshine and heat can be almost relentless. There is something so beautiful about the onset of Spring - here in the UK the daffodils are starting to bloom and look so cheery on a crisp day. So glad your card enabled you to share a little bit of Spring today (love the pink pearls too!)
I love this layout, Hannelie - especially how you popped up the flowers on the white square. I must remember this!
So sweet and perfectly delicate, Hannelie! Stunning card, as always! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at Addicted to CAS!
Totally pretty!
A beautiful CAS design !!
So sweet and lovely, Hannelie! Love the white on white with just a pop of color and that branch is oh so sweet!
I'd love to see blooming trees outside too :(, but spring is not coming this year to North America. Thank you for this delicate and dreamy card, Hannelie, from the ATCAS and me personally.
Gorgeous! Your rock at CAS!
Wat een mooie kleuren bij elkaar! Zou ik niet zo gauw combineren, maar ga dat ook eens proberen... Elegant en mooi zo CAS als jij deze weer hebt gemaakt! Groetjes, Gerrina
