Hi there!
I've been playing around with the foiling technique and want to share a card I made yesterday !
I used a method that suits my hybrid card making style and it worked quite well I would say!
I used a flower stamp by hero arts. Sorry but I don't have the name of the set... i will update the post when I have the name of it.
The sentiment is a digi and not from the same set.
I finished the stamping and then I made a photo copy of it (remember you have to use a laser printer/copier )
I then went ahead and added the foil using a laminator. After I did the foiling, I sponged inks (Butter Bar and Orange Soda from hero arts) to the flower centers.
A handy tip to remember : The smoother the card stock, the better the result when you add foil!
I am adding my link to the photo inspiration challenge at Stampin' Royalty.
This little flower by hero arts reminded me so much of the beautiful umbrella which is part of the inspiration picture!
Thanks for visiting me today!

I must have been snoozing! I missed the foil technique. I must investigate and soon! : )
Your card is a show stopper! You really are Stamping Royality to me!!

Your card is beautiful! I love the look of foiled images and text. If I ever see a laminator on sale, I may have to buy it in order to give this a try.
What a great "attempt" at foiling! You got this mastered! Beautiful card!
Your card is fabulous!! I LOVE that you photocopied it and then foiled it. I want to do this myself but am so afraid. Did you add the yellow color AFTER foiling or before? Just wondering because it looks so pretty with the gold!
Beautiful Hannelie. Love the warm autumn hues.

Simply gorgeous card!
Beautiful! Love the gold, perfect take on the sketch.
Joe, hierdie foiling van jou is darem net te wonderlik, vrou!!! En die blomme lyk stunning so met die sponging in die middel!!!! Ek kan net dink hoe mooi hierdie kaartjie IRL moet wees!!!! Pragtig gedoen!!!

Oh wow the shine on your card is fabulous! I haven't ventured into the world of foiling but I really love the look of it. The sponged centre really make the flowers glow too.
What an amazing idea to stamp first and then do a photocopy for foiling. It's so simple but I'd never thought of that. Have to give it a try sometime. Thanks so much for sharing.
Love it! and i bet it looks even MORE fabulous in person! What a great technique! Thanks for playing along with us at Stampin' Royalty this week!
Beautiful card. I just got a minc and can't wait to try it out. May I ask what laser printer you use?
The laciness of the flowers look so beautiful in foil, Hannelie. That's one technique I have not tried.
