Happy Birthday!

Hi there!

I am playing along in 2 challenges today:

Less is more ~ color challenge

Addicted to stamps  ~ CAS

When it comes to color challenges I normally 'turn the page' when I see more than 2 or 3 colors... so Chrissie , Sarah and Anne, you really challenged me this week with not less than 6 colors!

I kept on thinking 'sea' when I looked at the color palette. I picked a 'flower' digital image that reminded me more of a sea star than a flower, especially after I colored it with my promarkers!

The sentiment is computer generated, font used : Annie

                                                     GRAB OUR BADGE!

Thanks so much for visiting me today!

You rocked the color challenge. I'm right there with you...more than 3 colors and I normally bow out!

Hannelie considering you 'run a mile' when faced with more than 3 colours I think you've rocked this one. Beautiful, vivid and beautiful card.
Love that panel of turquoise. Yummy!
Thanks so much for sharing and taking part.

gorgeous colors -- impressed with the computer generated sentiment. I mess that up every time!

Love your card. I used get scared by colour challenges but then decided not try to use all the colours and simply enjoy it.

I think that challenge would have been crazy hard for me! You nailed it, though. Wonderful card!

This is really striking Hannelie!
Superb card, I thought 'sea' with these colours too, but like you managed something a little different as well.
Thanks so much
Chrissie

Ik dacht aan winter en ijs toen ik de kleuren zag, maar als het hier iets warmer was geweest had ik misschien ook aan zee gedacht... Toch mooi dat je iets anders moois gemaakt hebt! Groetjes, Gerrina

I totally see 'ocean' in the inspiration colors too! Love how you have turned the flower to a sea star (or star fish as we call them!). I'm sure that the pearl center was the product of an ocean oyster too! "Swell" torn edges (sorry, couldn't resist!)
