I used dry embossing on my card, and an image (freebie from lang ago) from Meljens designs.

The embossing is absolutely gorgeous and I love the delicate stamping.

This would have been wonderful even before the strips of blue and red, but they add the perfect balancing, grounding element!

Your card makes my heart long for my children to come home to visit! So effective in portraying the 'missing you' message! Love the subtle texture too.
So clever having the bird at one end and his heart at the other with the sentiment. Love the blue and red borders and the texture in all that lovely white space! Anita :)
