We are enjoying a nice long week end here in the UAE. The weather is so nice, we've spent plenty of time on the beach - great family time!
I also used the time to make a card. The design is based on the sketch at case this sketch .
Also entering the 'Recycle it' challenge at crafty sentiments.
For the top layer I used a piece of card stock I recycled from an Abu Dhabi tourism brochure. I gave it colour by sponging it with aqua colored ink. Just added a die cut flower , sentiment and small black rhinestones.
The sentiment says, 'enjoy your birthday'.
The card stock mentioned: ( I just could't throw it away!)

I was going to say "what did the brochure look like?!!". That is awesome and it seems you might have a strip to spare to use as an accent on another card :D
