CAS(e) this sketch #214

Hi there!

If you're looking for sketch inspiration... I have this week's CAS(e) this sketch to share with you!

My card:

A closer look:

A card designed in the Silhouette studio. Not sure about the source of the branch and birds cutting file... it's been in my library for a while.

The font I used for the sentiment is called: DJB Upstairs at the Abbey.

So glad I got to use some washi tape for the BG ( I gathered quite a stash over time 😆)

My card was inspired by the following challenges:

Time out challenges ~ Caseing Jenny (inspired by the home theme / bird house, but added graphic elements of dots and stripes by using washi tape instead of a blended BG)

Less is more ~ Washi Tape

AAA cards ~ Die Cuts

Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge ~ Use more than one die

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hugs
Hannelie

BEYOND ADORABLE!!! The colors are so happy....and what a GREAT way to use up some Washi tape. I'm right there with you in the 'washi stash' department...great idea - thanks!

I've been MIA for several days (again!) Company, travelling, visiting and crazy busy at work! Will try to get back on track with regular visits!

That's Washi????!!! If I could use it half as well as you do, I'd be so happy! These colors and patterns are fabulous; so reminiscent of Spring! And your branch, birdhouse, and those two little yellow birds are absolutely adorable. What a great card! Love this!! Bev

I just love a bright, crisp, cheerful card like this! I can hardly believe that's Washi tape. I never collected much of it, but only because I have so much designer paper. This blue, green, and yellow is so happy!
