Muse # 160

Hi there!

There's some wonderful inspiration again at Muse Card Club this week!

I love everything about Michele's card and used her beautiful layout and limited color scheme as my inspiration.

I designed my card in the Silhouette Studio using a silver sketch pen and a flower image from Hero arts found in the Silhouette on line store Design ID #24641.

To create the teal panel, I first cut out an offset of the flower outline from the rectangle, then used the sketch pens again to draw an enlarged version(s) of the same flower image to mimic the pattern Michele has on her rectangular panel.

The sentiment was also written with the sketch pens (outline) and I filled it in by hand to get a solid look.

This is Michele's card:

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hannelie your card is a perfect CASE, love how you used the silver sketch pen for your panel! I have to say that you are someone who makes such amazing use of your Silhouette. You inspire me to want to use mine more and put those pens I have into use. Thank you for sharing with us at Muse this week!

Beautiful! While I love Michele's original, that pop of teal on white is just positively joyful!

Your card looks so fresh and clean, Hannelie. It's such a creative layout, too, with the partial cut of the flower in your teal panel. I like it a lot!

Always a huge fan of teal but I seem to rarely use it! Love how you've used the negative of the silhouette cut - a fab take on Michele's beautiful card Hannelie!

So I'm thinking that you definitely need to apply for the DT call that the Silhouette folks posted a few days ago! You would ROCK their products to the moon and back!

Clever. Pretty. CAS. Perfect blings!
