CASology : Egg

Hi there!

I know the most of the DT (including me)  had to think extra hard this week to come up with an idea to inspire you... I can't wait to see what you will create with this week's cue at  CASOLOGY !

Dimensional Easter egg card

You can create this dimensional effect with any symmetric shape. I used 3 of the same size oval shapes. All you have to do is make a fold along the axis of the shape, and add a thin line of glue to each layer  to allow the shape to be popped up on the sides for dimension. The great thing about this, is that it folds completely flat and fits perfectly in an envelope!

Fantastic design and I love the papers you chose. Flat for mailing is perfect, and the recipient will get a nice surprise.

I love that you cut out a little larger egg shape in your top mat. That way there's a little room for the layers of your egg to lay flat without getting completely crushed. This is so pretty. I'm sure you could sew down the center of the shapes with a sewing machine, too. I've got to remember this one. :)

So wonderlik goed gedoen, vrou!!! Baie oulik!!!
Groete
