I want this dress ;)

Hi there!

Oh I LOVE the dress on the Runway this week! I could see myself wearing it, except maybe for those killer heals, I think I will look like Rebel Wilson on ELLEN last week!

Source: Vogue.com

The starting point for my design was the sweatheart(ish) neckline. I used an upside down heart (cropped) to mimic the neckline (white part). Further inspiration from the tone on tone navy lace. To achieve this I used my Silhouette sketch pens to draw the vine pattern and added a WOS to give a subtle shimmer.
If you look closer you will also see a tiny bow on the waistline. So I finished off the card with a magenta bow and flower accent.

A close up to show the shimmer:

I saved the sentiment for you:

I just can't stop taking photo's of my dear Sugar... Many of you asked me to show more of him, so here he is!

I got him a name tag this week !

Thanks for visiting me today!

Ek soek ook so 'n fantastiese rok vir my suster se dogter se troue, vrou!!!! (en die figuurtjie ook, asseblief!!! LOL!!!! Joe, dis wonderlik mooi, vrou!!! Regtig pragtig gedoen!!!!
Groete en 'n lekker aand daar!!!!
Moet nou eers weer gaan aandag gee aan aandete!!!!

Love your creation - especially the sweet bow. Great recreation of the pretty sweetheart neckline (which is obviously back in style again).

Your card is adorable...but sugar steals the show!

Ya think I'm an extreme animal lover? Oh yeah!

I love how you pulled all this elite details from the dress to create this beauty - it's fabulous! And Sugar is absolutely gorgeous. What a sweetie! I think when we have our CASology get together we need to bring all the pooches too! :)
It's World Rugby Classic Week here in Bermuda. The Springboks clobbered the USA (29 - 12) but lost to the All Blacks (20 - 14).

I love how you described the meaning behind each part of your card...amazing! Also fantastic is that vine pattern - I have never used sketch pens for my Silhouette, but now I feel like I need to give it a try! Thanks so much for joining us on the Runway :)
