Hi there!


After I finished this card, I realized that this is the first easel card on my blog! I've made a few before I started my blog, but this is the first to be featured on my blog!

I also thought it was about time to make a male card again.  I know lots of crafters out there struggle with male cards , but in a way I really love making them. Perhaps because it forces you to think of other embellishments than flowers , lace and pearls!

I used "Jukebox Jenna". It is set of 3 digi stamps. On my card you can see Jenna and some good old vinyl!
The set also contains a jukebox! Super cute!!

I colored the images with promarkers, and added the polka dots with a white gel marker.

Hi there!

... that's exactly how I'm feeling today... BLUE!

Missing my daughter who started her studies 3 weeks ago in Switzerland. Especially today, because I know she's not feeling so well...

I would rather be with her, so a more apt card for today, you wouldn't find anywhere else!
We are a family of 4, therefor she is the missing piece of the puzzle!

Sweet flowers

Hi there!

So funny how sometimes a card can come so easy, and then sometimes, like today, it's a struggle from the beginning to the end!

When I started this card, I was thinking, yellow, orange, green. It ended with pink , blue and white!

I hope I do justice to this sweet little girl. I really think that sometimes a picture can say so much more than a thousand words. The way her whole world is coming to a stand  still... in total astonishment of that one flower in front of her. I just wish I could remember where I found this digi, I think it was from one of the generous blogs listed at free digital stamps.

 So without further ado .... here she is...

Fall frolic

Hi there!

Fall... my favorite time of the year.

 Just couldn't resist to make a Fall card. Perhaps I tried to get the feeling of Fall by making this card, because:

1 ~ after 3 years of living in the Northern hemisphere, I'm still not used to Fall being in September!  September used to mean only one thing : SPRING!

2 ~ in this part of the world there is actually only one season, SUMMER, SUMMER, SUMMER,SUMMER , 4 times a year! With only palm trees around, I can't remember when last I saw an autumn leaf!

So, let's celebrate Fall on paper ;)

Clean and simple

Hi there!

Hope you all are doing fine out there!

In my part of the world it's already  weekend... yes we have our weekend on Friday and Saturday in the middle east! So...Friday's a great day for *crafting*!!!

My card for today:

I took on the challenge to make a really small card for cas-ualfridays. The measurements of the card should not exceed 4' x 4'. What a challenge to create on such a small piece of paper!!

My card measures just below the requirement. The flower doily I used, is from create with tlc, I copied it to a Word document, and edited it to the size and color I needed.

It also qualifies for the following challenges :

frosted designs ~ sketch

A dear friend of my mom had a knee replacement operation... so this a card for her.

She is 86 years old and still making cards! I admire her... she's a very special lady!

The image is from birds cards and I colored it with promarkers. Papers from shery k designs.

Happy birthday Jolize

Hi there!

Time for a very special card!!!

This one is for our daughter Jolize, who turns 18 on the 13th of September. She loves high heels...that's why I chose a shoe full of roses from beary wishes, a beautiful freebie from Kathie!

With this post we send her all our best wishes for a wonderful new year. She can't be with us today, because she started her studies a long way from home (6000km's!!).
