DMW's first challenge!

Hi there!

Finally the day arrived! Time for our first challenge at digi my world!

 I am so excited to share the card I made, using this adorable "Asian cutie" from Annie's collection.

To kick off , we chose "anything goes". So come on,  have a look at what Annie has to offer. There are lots of  freebies you can choose of, to enter the challenge.

We would like to you to share your creativity with us!!

I colored the image with Promarkers and Aquarkers. The dress was paper pieced.
The knot at the bottom is called a Japanese Mizuhiki knot. I found the instructions on page 74,  issue 59 of "Papercraft essentials". Online you can find it HERE.

The paper was a free download from cardmaking and papercraft.

Christmas in August

Hi there!

I always find it difficult to make Christmas cards before the Christmas feeling hits me.... mmm, unfortunately that's usually way too late!

So I suppose I'll just have to get going! No better way to start with a clean and simple design of white and silver.

I love using outline stickers, so I grabbed the opportunity to use my stickers when I saw the challenge at cas-ualfridays, to make my first Christmas card for 2011.

Butterfly dreams

Hi there!

So great to back in blog land! Wow I missed my craft room... but really had a great time visiting family and friends in South-Africa!

Still trying to get back the creativity... so here's my first try in more than a month, think I got a bit rusty ;)
I got myself this new butterfly die with 4 different embossing options and gave it a quick try... just love it!
