It's been a while since I made a card for a guy... This one is super clean and simple, no fuss !

• Embossing folder from Cuttlebug
• Silhouette cameo
• Circle die
• Sentiment from Simon says stamp beautiful flower stamp set
• Altenew ink
• Craft foam for dimension

Hi there!

There's a fun inspiration photo over at Inkspirational challenges  and I decided to play along!

                                                           

My card :

I used :

• Octopus cutting file from Miss Kate Cuttables
• Glasses cut from a free clip art image
• Hey : Font - Amastery script with glyphs for the 'h'
• Silhouette cameo
• Stamped sentiment from Altenew Sentiment strip stamp set
• Adirondack ink in Watermelon
• Rocco polka dot stencil
• Googly eyes
• Foam squares for dimension
• Black rhinestones

Quite a literal interpretation of the photo, I just couldn't resist trying to incorporate as much of the elements from the photo in my card. The dots, the red and white, the tentacles... and then of course those glasses ! 

I just love it when there's a REAL connection between the sentiment of a card and the image or focal point... and I'd like to think I achieved it in this card 😄

Altenew Inspiration Challenge July 2020

Hi there!

So happy to share today's card which was inspired by the Altenew challenge  !

I love the vintage farmhouse inspiration photo Ashlea shared with us. Even though there are vintage elements in the photo, it has a fresh, clean line feel to it... and that's what I tried to capture in my card.

I used the two neutral colors as background and the butterfly as focal point in Mountain Mist to represent the wreath. I kept the design to the bottom part of my card , also inspired by the grouping of elements on the lower half of the inspiration photo.

• Rustic linen  stamp set
• Label love  stamp set
• Altenew inks as shown in picture + a touch of Frayed leaf on the butterfly
• Misti
• Memory Box rectangle die
• Enamel dots
• Foam squares to pop up the center panel
