I am so excited to join the Male Room Challenge as guest designer for the next 2 weeks !

 My faithful  Silhouette cameo helped me out for this challenge because I don't own any stencils, stamps or even digi stamps covering the theme !

• Silhouette cameo
• Foam dots to pop up the tow upper layers of the card to add dimension

Happy Mother's day !

With the "Beautiful Flowers" stamp set from Simon Says Stamp still on my desk after making yesterday's card, I decided to make another card for a mom !

Altenew May inspiration challenge : Take 2

Hi there!

With a head full of ideas sparked by the inspiration photo Aga provided this month, I made another card for the Altenew May Inspiration Challenge ! The shadows and texture intrigues me :)

:

I used :

• Altenew Botanical-garden stamp set
• Altenew stone-wall-stencil
• Altenew Label-love stamp set
• Embossing paste by Dreamweaver ( I used some Iced Spruce Distress Oxide ink to add color to the white embossing paste )
• Foam dots for dimension
• Zig markers
• Versafine black ink
• Silhouette cameo to cut out the image
• Circle die cut to create the mask for embossed background

• Rustic-linen stamp set (background -  stamped over brick wall stencil {cut with my silhouette cameo}

• Silhouette cameo to cut out the floral focal point
• Distress ink

I love the picture Aga gave us for inspiration this month! Perfect for a CAS design 😊

Especially the play of light and shadows. By using a dimensional element on my card I hoped to achieve the shadow effect, and I think it worked!

Turquoise Celebration

 Hi there!

I'm on the roll with a second card for today! Keeping myself busy in an attempt to fight the quietness in the house . The two weeks with our oldest daughter here was so wonderful.

Time to start looking forward to the next time we will all be together. That's how it is when you live far away from the people you love!

Make a wish... it's your birthday!

Hi there!

I don't own a variety of stamps suitable for making cards for children. I prefer spending my card making funds on pretty flower stamps 😊. Add to this the fact that cute cards doesn't come easy and naturally to me, it just makes sense to rely on digital stamps and my Silhouette cameo to help me out when I want to make these cards!

Here's an example :
