CAS(e) this sketch #159

Hi there!

It's time for a new sketch at CAS(e) this sketch !

Michelle has a plaid inspired sketch for us ... but how will you use it!? I can't wait to see!

Plaid inspired birthday card

For my card this week, I really went back to the drawing board  !

I started off by drawing diagonal lines with a ruler and black fine liner, and stamped a tiny floral image from a Casual Friday set called ' loving thoughts'  where the lines cross. I added some gold liquid pearls in the flower centers.

A Hero arts birthday sentiment to finish off the card.

Hope to see you play along !

Thanks for visiting me today :)

Oh I love this! You've used what could be a "busy" background and made it perfectly CAS! The black and white with pops of gold is gorgeous. Love those little flower centers too. Beautiful font on that sentiment; it adds just the perfect touch of elegance to this pretty card. Love it! Bev

Clean, simple and sweetly graphic....I think it's the cute dainty daisy images that create total sweetness!

I'm so impressed with the time you must have spent drawing the lines, adding the wee flower, and then dropping a little gold liquid pearl in the center of each flower. What patience and precision you have! The end result is gorgeous, of course.
