Less is more color challenge #109

Hi there!

I woke up to a wonderful day this morning!

 Firstly...

I want to share a few pictures of our beautiful sunrise this morning in Abu Dhabi!
This is what greeted me this morning when I opened the curtains.

Don't you think it's beautiful?!!!

Secondly, when I opened my browser, I saw that Chrissie and Jen at less is more awarded me the February winner's prize! An absolute surprise! Thanks so much ... I really appreciate that, and not only that, but also for visiting each and every entry , every week!
Also for inspiring us with your talent!

So here I am with a card for this week's color challenge . When I first saw the color combination, I thought I will sit this one out ( more than 2 colors make me shiver :) , but hey, that's why they call it a challenge...

It's a birthday card with a sentiment in Afrikaans.

I printed a template from pixel scrapper, and colored it with Promarkers, added my sentiment, ribbon and a few pearls to finish it off.

Thanks for visiting me today!

what a beautiful way to start a new day!

Stunning card Hannelie! Angle design elements can be so difficult to 'balance'...but not for you! The pearls create an effective visual border between the circle panel and all the yummy white space/sentiment! Awesome coloring too!

I just saw the news over at LIM and had to come and congratulate you, Hannelie, on the huge, but well-deserved, honor of being selected the winner for the month of February!!

And the card you made perfectly embodies WHY you were chosen! It is simply awe-inspiring perfection. Wow.

Thank you for sharing those breathtaking photos of the sunrise! You are very blessed!

Baie geluk met jou wen, Hannelie!! (Ek het probeer om na jou weninskrywing te gaan kyk, maar kon dit nie kry nie - gaan bietjie verder soek)
Jou kaartjie vandag is net so pragtig soos die sonsopkoms! Lekker om die Afrikaanse bewoording te sien!
Groete uit 'n lekker koel George (dit reen op die oomblik te heerlik)
