Blue blue butterfly!

Hi there!

Today's card uses inspiration from two challenges. They work together so well, just could not resist playing along!

I used :

  • Butterfly cutting file from Miss Kate Cuttables
  • Silhouette cameo
  • Sentiment from Altenew Floral Frame stamp set
  • Three different shades of blue card stock
  • Black card stock & blue glitter paper
  • Rhinestones

Challenges :

Time out challenges  ~ Using the butterfly as focal point , adding stripes, blues and metallic elements

Thanks for visiting me today!

  2. I love this butterfly so much! Once on a trip to Costa Rica, I was standing quietly in the rain forest (I was alone), waiting for things to come back to life around me. And there on the tree was what looked like a brownish butterfly--its wings were straight up and held together. As I waited, it eventually opened its wings and flew from the tree. The inside (tops) of those wings was the most brilliant blue I've ever seen. I was awestruck! Thanks for reminding me of that beautiful butterfly with your lovely card.
