CASE me at Time out!

Hi there!

Today I have the honor to join the team at Time out challenges, for their CASE the designer challenge ... So awesome !

                                                                  Grab Our Badge!

I really hope you will find inspiration from my card and share it in the gallery at Time Out. I am so excited to see what you create!

A closer look:

The trellis window was cut with my silhouette cameo, and I used distress inks to blend the BG.

For the Silhouette users out there... I used the Peoni patterns font { the letter S }, to create the aperture. Lots of great free patterns in one font!

For the splatters I used the Snowing background stamp by Altenew using  the same colors I used to blend the BG:

  • Picked raspberry
  • Spiced marmalade
  • Mustard seed

I used a digital stamp for the flowers, and added my own sentiment, which I will share, like I always do :)

How will you be inspired?

Thanks for the invitation TIME OUT, and thanks for visiting me today!

Hugs
Hannelie

  1. This card totally inspired me-so much about it! I loved you kept the flower white against the background sponging and the splatters also-I used all these in my card. So pleased you are joining us as our CASE designer-we are honoured x

  4. Aren't you the clever girl to use a letter to create the pattern! I don't have a Silhouette and know nothing about using one, but your cards are the greatest inspiration. I can certainly see the benefits. Love the splatters and the blended background and your entire design!

  5. We are super happy to CASE you at TO, Hannelie! Your card is full on inspiration. For me the greatest element is the color palette -the wonderful sponged bg combined with the black and white image. So stunning. I think I will keep this idea in mind in many of my future cards!

  7. What a dramatic and beautiful mother's day card! Without looking at the close up, I thought you stenciled that beautiful window!!! For me a cut-out window is much better to CASE :)!!! Hope I can come up with an idea soon!

  10. Beautiful card! I hope to play along if I can. Thanks for the sentiment. When I went to make cards this year I only had one sentiment for Mother's Day. Couldn't believe it. So this is much appreciated!

  13. Gorgeous card! I love that pop of color to back up the white flowers. I'm trying to learn from you, Hannelie, but it's not going so well. I just don't have your wonderful sense of design. :)
