My card:
Another angle:
I used 3 sets from Altenew for my card:
- Springtime azalea : Flowers & leaves
- Snowing : Background splatters
- Amazing you : Sentiment
I started by creating the strip of color from 3 different colors of card stock and smooshing the watercolor paper with a light pink Zig marker and spritzed water .
I used the "inlaid die technique" (by lack of a better description, because technically it's not die cuts but paper cuts 😊 ) in order to have a smooth surface for stamping.
I then stamped the splatters in pink and green, and finally stamped the sentiment and outlines of the flowers with Versafine Onyx black.
Of course the stamping was made so easy with my Misti !
I am also adding my link to:
CAS mix up : Stamping, splattering (hope my stamped splatters are okay - if not please ignore my entry 😆 , watercolor smooshing & inlaid paper cuts.
CAS water color : Flowers
Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge : A hint of pink
Thanks for visiting me today!
