Proud of your strength

Hi there!

One of my favorite Altenew sets to watercolor is the Bamboo rose set. I think it lends itself beautifully to loose watercoloring , which works for me! With this month's Inspiration challenge picture still in my head, I stamped a simple scene and watercolored it, using my Zig markers.

This time I used the flowers as background and added 2 butterflies as focal point. I did some mirror stamping of the butterfly and did the 'fussy cutting' with my silhouette.

Thank you so much for visiting me!

  2. You've created a beautiful floral background, Hannelie. When you fussy-cut with your Silhouette, do you use a Pixscan mat, or do you scan, save and trace? Just wondering which method would be best, as I need to get more practice doing this so that I don't have to relearn it every time.

  20. Absolutely gorgeous and yes, the loose water-colouring adds such impact! This set has recently arrived in my collection and is awaiting attention. I wasn't sure what to do with it, given my frustration with water-colouring, but you've given me incentive! Thank you! So glad you shared your creativity in the Addicted to Stamps and More gallery!
