CAS(e) this sketch #206

Hi There!

I am so glad you popped in to take a look at the sketch we have this week at CAS(e) this sketch and what I created for your inspiration!

My card:

Another angle:

... and up close:

The lilies are from an online coloring page. I opened the image in the Silhouette studio, traced it and applied a small offset for cutting. For added interest I also printed the flowers directly onto the card base as you can see in the second photo.

I used a stencil from Enmarc and distress inks : Picked raspberry and Spiced marmalade.

Enamel dots as finishing touches.

I also created the sentiment in the Silhouette studio, and you are welcome to download it for personal use:

I used inspiration from the following challenges:

The card concept ~ inspired by the pink/orange and black, as well as the abundance of white space and geometric shapes ~ (Clean and graphic)

The paper players ~ CAS flower challenge

Addicted to CAS  ~ Wish

Thanks for looking! Hope to see you join us this week at CAS(e) this sketch!

Hugs
Hannelie

  20. Gotta love the coloring pages!

I think the stenciled colors as your backdrop for the lilies is absolutely lovely and the color dot finishes it off so very nice.

  21. Where do I start? Firstly, using a black and white flower against that colorful background is genius! The look is fabulous. Then I can see a peek of the card base and it looks orange to me which only further draws attention to the CAS card front. Color and the absence of color co-habitate perfectly on this card. Bravo!
