CAS(e) this sketch #173

Hi there!

Just saying hi with my inspiration card for this week's CAS(e) this sketch !

My take:

just a note masculine card

I cut the triangle background twice, and layered it for dimension on my card base. I then added the yellow and orange triangles over the black one with the sentiment.
The grey on grey almost look like embossing or rather faux embossing !

Everything cut with the help of my Silhouette cameo.

I used the inspiration picture at Inspired by all the little things to design my card, the triangle coincidence was just so obvious...  ;)

I wasn't really going for such a masculine look, but yes, that's what I got by using a grey card base. Almost like an industrialized look, so IMO not a real reflection of the inspiration photo , but I did use the elements and am linking up anyway!

The sentiment:

That's it!

Thanks for looking, hope to see you play along at CAS(e) this Sketch!

  4. Jaw-dropping. That's all. It does look more masculine to me but that's because it's so graphic and textured. But that doesn't matter. What does, is that its AWESOME!

  10. Awesome card! I think it would work for either gender. I really like the tone on tone with your background SIL cut. And doubling it up is a great idea. I need to give that a try.

  18. I notice you said you used Silhouette cameo to create the triangles. Did you use for the network in the gray background too? I used your card for inspiration for my entry in CAS(e) this sketch #173. Do you use Silhouette often? I created a Pinterest board for Silhouette when I was considering Silhouette. I still consider just barely above a novice in Inkscape.

Anyway, you do great work! The industrial colors look terrific to me!
