Hi there!
I am back with a second card on this Good Friday.
This time I used the inspiration from the Muse card club.
Therese Calvird is the muse this week, with a lovely nautical themed card. I also used a stencilled background for my red sail ship, but restricted it to a circle background, The same basic vertical layout was kept, with the focal point moved to the upper centre position.
I used drywall tape as my stencil and 'faded jeans' distress ink. Therefore I will also be linking up my card at Virginia's stencil challenge at Virginia's view challenge #2.
My sentiment says : "Congratulations!" in Afrikaans.
The challenges:
Thanks so much for visiting me today!
I love the feeling this nautical themed card evokes in me - fresh air, sunshine, summer days, and ocean breezes - utterly sweet!

ReplyDeleteOh my...another AMAZING card! So gloriously clean & graphic! "Swell" idea (as in ocean swells) to use the drywall tape for your stencil...that stuff is so cool! This wee sloop is guaranteed to sail into a winning spot in the card regattas!
ReplyDeleteThis is so fantastic !! I like the way u enlarged the boat on ur card, looks like I am seeing the card through a magnifying glass ;)
ReplyDeletePragtig, vrou!!! Ek is natuurlik mal oor drywall tape, maar gebruik dit meestal net vir scrapbooking - jy het dit pragtig as stensil benut!!! Die rooi bootjie is pragtig en die rooi lyne wat so afloop is eenvoudig perfek!! Lieflike stukkie werk!!
ReplyDeleteGroete.
