Red & green for this fortnight's Color hues challenge ! What will you create? Christmas cards seems like a good idea for Christmas in July?
I decided to go floral with a simple poppy design :
I used :
- Bouquet-of-poppies - Stamp set, die and coloring stencils - Altenew
- Tea-party-mini-cube-set and Green-fields mini cube set
- Instant-dimension-foam-tape
- Dainty-swiss-dots-stamp-set
- Rhinestones

ReplyDeleteI love the design with the curved black on white dots in the background Hannelie, and such a beautiful poppy, and a lovely sentiment and some rhinestones as finishing touches. x
ReplyDeleteIt goes without saying that I love poppies but the way you added the polka dots to mimic the curve of the stem is such a creative design feature, Hannelie.
ReplyDeleteI love this gorgeous CAS card! The curve of the poppy and the black and white pattern make a perfect spot for the sentiment. We're going to miss you at Color Hues, but won't be deprived of your wonderful designs thanks to your blog and IG!
ReplyDeletePolka dots and a beautiful flower, who would want anything more on a birthday card? As noted by other commenters, the curved design with both the flower stem and the polka dots is so, so eye catching and a clever touch. You will be missed as part of the challenge, Hannelie, but I'm so glad we'll be seeing you as part of the Altenew DT! All the best!
