Hi there!
So happy that you popped in for this special occasion!
If you are following the hop, you must have arrived here from Gemma . Next stop Joanna. If you got lost, just scroll down for the complete blog hop list!
The February release from Alex Syberia Designs is available now and we are celebrating with a blog hop and giveaway ... of course!
It was really difficult to decide which card I want to share today, but in the end I decided to show off the SPRING GARDEN stamp set. There is a die set available and... four layering coloring stencils too !
Card #1
On the first card I combined the large floral stamp with the Weave layering stencil from the previous release. After coloring the flowers with the stencil set, I used the coordinating die to cut out the image .
I used a large circle die cut to mask an area of the background, just to give the design some breathing space and make the sentiment stand out a bit more.
I used dimensional foam tape to adhere the image to the card base and embellished the card with clear rhinestones.
On the second card I combined the large florals with Modern stripes stencil, fading out the ink to the center of the card, also allowing the sentiment to stand out a bit more. I also popped the image up with foam tape and finished the card off with clear rhinestones.

ReplyDeleteLovely cards!! I love the yellows and the geometric backgrounds!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThese two cards are great. I especially like the first one-so different from others that have been posted. I like how you used the background to focus the flowers and give the card some pop without adding all the color. Also, I like how your second card leaves the spacing for the flowers to be the center of attention, but create a highlighted yellow background. Very different and lovely cards.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards. That black/white background is just stunning.

ReplyDeleteI love how just changing the background stencil changes the look completely but doesn't change the beauty in each card.
