Hello dearest friend

 Hi there!

I love that macrame is back in fashion again! I want to dust off my knotting skills and make a real one, but for time being, I'm sharing a paper one !

The macrame cutting file is from the Silhouette store, and I created my own window and blinds in the Silhouette studio. I added color with distress inks, added texture with a background stamp from Altenew and finished the card off with a sentiment , also from Altenew.

I used :

  • Macrame design ID #354141
  • Silhouette cameo
  • Variety of distress inks
  • Altenew Rustic Linen BG stamp
  • Sentiment from Altenew Handpicked Bouquet set
  • Misti
  • Foam squares for dimension

Design inspired by Jen's sketch from  Freshly made sketches.

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hannelie

  2. LOVE this card! The little scene you created is perfect. I can remember the macrame plant hangers I made a few decades ago. And I agree that it is really fun to have them back in fashion. I'm thinking about making one again for my back porch.
