Hi there!
I love that macrame is back in fashion again! I want to dust off my knotting skills and make a real one, but for time being, I'm sharing a paper one !
The macrame cutting file is from the Silhouette store, and I created my own window and blinds in the Silhouette studio. I added color with distress inks, added texture with a background stamp from Altenew and finished the card off with a sentiment , also from Altenew.
I used :
- Macrame design ID #354141
- Silhouette cameo
- Variety of distress inks
- Altenew Rustic Linen BG stamp
- Sentiment from Altenew Handpicked Bouquet set
- Misti
- Foam squares for dimension
Design inspired by Jen's sketch from Freshly made sketches.
Thanks for visiting me today!
Hannelie

ReplyDeleteYour blog insprire me often.
Have a good time, Maaike.
LOVE this card! The little scene you created is perfect. I can remember the macrame plant hangers I made a few decades ago. And I agree that it is really fun to have them back in fashion. I'm thinking about making one again for my back porch.
ReplyDeleteAll the macrame I am seeing around takes me back MANY years, when we were constantly making things! Your card is so classy and a perfect CAS design. Thank you for playing along this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteExceptionally lovely and fresh, Hannelie! Clever window treatment. I remember the macrame plant hanger days, but some of the beautiful new macrame pieces just blow me away.
