Be Strong

Hi there!

For today's card I pulled out some of the oldest stamps in my stash. I don't own a tonne of stamps, so I tend to hold on to the older sets for a long time! Good thing because I could put them to work for today's card !

I seldom go so completely CAS in my designs, but I love the simplicity of this, so I decided to not add any embellishments.






I used :

  • Brush stroke stamp from Casual Friday's Breathe stamp set (retired)
  • Bamboo image from Hero Arts Asian Frames set (retired)
  • Sentiment from Hero Arts Safari wild about you stamp set
  • Altenew ink in Bamboo color
  • Versafine black ink
  • Misti
  • Lime green card base

I wanted to make sure my design makes sense regarding the combination of image and sentiment, so I asked Google of course, and learned that bamboo is in fact stronger that steal in regards to tensile strength, and it withstands compression better than concrete! See.. you learn a lot while making cards 😀
