CAS(e) this sketch #212

Hi there!

Time for a new sketch ... yes it's CAS(e) this sketch time!

N@Ali's sketch was just what I needed for a card I had in mind!

Altenew Spring Daisy

Remember I said HERE that Virginia's inspiration photo at the Altenew March challenge holds so much possibilities?

I just had to make another card inspired by all the 'happy' exuded on that pretty picture!

I used the Spring daisy set this time and combined it with Halftone happy sentiment set and Snowing stamp for the 'splatter' inspired BG.

Inks used :

Versafine Black
Sunshine Yellow ~ Adirondack Brights
Watermelon  ~ Adirondack Brights
Fizz ~ Avery Elle

I used my Silhouette cameo to create the partial cut to 'cradle' the sentiment.

Also entering the following challenges:

The flower challenge ~ Anything goes.
Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge ~ For a special lady/girl.

Thank you so much for visiting me today!

Hugs
Hannelie

  7. Your skill with the Silhouette never ceases to amaze me! I love that Snowing stamp. It has gone on my wish list. I think it would be so helpful in adding a spatter look to any background.

  11. I wish I knew a tenth of what you know about that Silhouette! To think that you can create a cradle to enhance the look of a sentiment is fabulous. And speaking of fabulous, your card fits that bill as well. Bright and cheery colors, pretty flowers, a bold sentiment, plus a splattered background are all that is needed to bring a big smile to someone's face!
