CAS Watercolor challenge... a reminder :)

Hi there!

I made this card to remind you that there is still time to join Bonnie & Loll's CAS watercolour challenge  with a snowflake theme!

Here it is :

up close:

The snowflakes were cut with my Silhouette cameo, and swooshed through watercolor (zigs spritzed with water on acetate)

After giving 3 octagon dies a very light color wash, I adhered the snowflakes to them, and positioned it diagonally on my card base with sentiment.
Added a tiny blue rhinestone to the center of each snowflake as final touch.

As always , feel welcome to download the sentiment for personal use:

I would like to play along in the following challenges:

Time out challenges ~ Winter (without the additional twist)

&

Curtain call challenge ~ Icicle

                  Grab Our Badge!

I hope to see you join the watercolor fun!

Hugs and thanks for visiting me today!

Hannelie

  6. Now I never would have thought to smoosh snowflakes with ink but I am loving the effect. This card is so pretty. I really like how the elements are on a diagonal like that. So cool.
