The Paper Players #308

Hi there!

Welcome to my Paper Players post this week!


                                                                       

When I saw the colors Claire picked for this week's color challenge, I couldn't help to think of THIS CARD I made not too long ago !



abstract art birthday card


The graphic abstract panel is from Hero Arts in the Silhouette online store ( Design ID #11169 ).

 I cut the frame in black, and used the die-cut inlay technique to add the red, blue and yellow.

 The sentiment is computer generated using the font Fashion Victim .

 I used the sketch by Kim at Freshly made sketches for the layout... great sketch!
                                       
So which direction will you go? I can't wait to see!

    Love the boldness of the colours and abstract design, so drawn to this though I wonder if I could ever achieve such lovely straight and correct lines. Love your style.

    I love your card! This layout is perfect to show off that bold colorful pattern. Piet Mondrian is one of my favorite artists and I thought of him right away when I saw this card. Thanks for sharing it with us!

    Hemeltje ik heb heel wat gemist tijdens mijn vakantie... Ben er even voor gaan zitten en genieten...
    Je groene kaart voor SSS wow is een prachtige! Echt een klein kunstwerk!

    What a wonderful art-inspired card! Funny how we went in exactly the same direction this week - I like yours more though, mine is too CAS if there is such a thing! Love the detail on your panel and the font for your sentiment is the perfect pairing.
