It's time to share my card for this week's CASology challenge !
The inspiration for my card comes from those cartoon images we all know so well, seeing stars after a knock on the head and the dizziness that follows ☺

The stars are a design from the Silhouette studio ( Design ID #10686 )
I love the hand drawn look of the stars and thought they were perfect for the effect I had in mind.
I added my own sentiment :

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and clever card! Love the brightness of it! I appreciate your generosity Hannelie!
ReplyDeleteOnly you could come up with an incredibly clever idea like this! Totally get the 'seeing stars' angle! Fabulous card - clean, simple and so cool with those awesome stars (love the bit of offset black).
ReplyDeleteOh dear..did it again...forgot to say THANKS for the cool sentiments!
ReplyDelete...me again! Not sure if I mentioned it in my first comment (if I did, blame it on my poor old forgetful brain) but have been MIA this past week as Brady surprised me with a visit home! 5 glorious days of mommy/daughter time! She flew back to Calgary today...miss her already (you know what that's like!).
ReplyDeleteThe black layer you put behind your stars really helps to define them. This is another great card. Love the sentiment, too.
ReplyDeleteOf course!!! What an excellent take!!! Love those bright neon colours too!
