The Paper Players #296 : Sketch time

Hi there!


We have a fabulous sketch by Laurie at the The Paper Players to inspire you  this week!

The heart is a design from Miss Kate Cuttables.
The bow is a design from Hero arts in the Silhouette online store Design ID#69514.

I used the offset function to print a gray 'shadow' or base layer. I then cut the heart in pink and stamped it with pickled raspberry distress ink with a Hero arts BG stamp (leaf and flower - retired)

The sentiment is my own, and as always I share it with you ;) Font : Nouradilla.

    I love the flow of the heart and the ribbon, and the contrast of the patterns (distress & simple lines)! The pretty color combination and embellishments add sweetiness to the card too!

    Love your interpretation of the sketch and color combo. I think the gray shadow behind your heart is such a great touch. It really gives the heart a polished look.
