The Paper Players #295

Hi there!

Want to unleash your WILD side this week?

Here's your opportunity!

We want to see a wild animal featured on your CAS cards at the paper players this week!

When I saw the graphics for the challenge this week, I truly wanted to make a sophisticated card. Graceful like the giraffes on the challenge graphic, because it reminds me so much of home... Africa!

But how strange, I almost never make cute cards, until I found this little zebra, yes, the wild but shy one hiding behind the polka dot panel. So I changed direction and went REALLY wild... with a rainbow zebra!

hey wild thing birthday card

And the inside...

Not having any wild animal stamps, I resorted to online coloring pages, were you can find wonderful "digital stamps" !

The cutie I used on my card today can be found HERE.

I colored it in rainbow colors with my Promarkers, and added the "hey" from the Silhouette online store and "wild thing" which was created digitally in PAINT using the font apple boy.

I played with Rita's sketch (rotated) at Freshly made sketches , but CASified it a wee bit. I also sent my focal point to the back of the polka dot panel to make it look as if the zebra is peeking from behind.
I added die cut grass to substitute one of the panels in the sketch, but kept it white to stick with the graphic feel of the card . Die-namics die from MFT.

{ yes... I tweaked your sketch a bit Rita... hope you don't mind ! ☺ }

I am also joining Seize the birthday with the topping of coloring

&

Happy little stampers anything goes with dies challenge.

Hugs to you and best wishes for a wonderful week!
