Hi there!
Come join us for this week's challenge at CASology!
I knew I wanted to use the cue card in more than one way on my card this week, so I used it for my inspiration card as a shape ( teardrop ) and a ripped or torn sentiment strip.
This is what happened in the craft room:
The sunglasses are a design from the Silhouette online store. I cut it once for the frame, in black. I then removed the horizontal lines in the Silhouette studio, and cut it once again in shiny blue/green pearlescent paper and layered the black cut over the green one.
To complete the card I added a sentiment strip and ' framed ' the glasses with the letters 'C' and 'L' to create the (hopefully cool ☺) focal point of my design.
Font used for totally : Licence plate.
&
Font used for cool : Dotline. ( I adjusted the 'C' - opened it up a bit in order to line up with the mirrored 'L' ).
This week's challenge is sponsored by : Right at home.
For more inspiration please visit my teammates... they will show you more ways to interpret the cue!
