Hi there !
Time to announce this week's cue at Casology :
When you're on the move, you need a design that's easy and quick to replicate ! This card came together in about 15 minutes, design time (in Silhouette studio) included.
The birds , the cages and the branches are all different letters from the same Dingbat font called doodle-dings-1-birds-cages.
As you can see I used the branches and cages only as printables, but applied an offset cutting line to the birds to pop them up and add some interest.
I added my sentiment (font : cookies & milk ) and adhered the top layer over a polka dot BG of patterned paper.
I had to sit on my hands to avoid adding a pop of color somewhere, but after the photo was taken I decided I like the B&W just as it is!
This week's sponsor is Cindy B designs.
More inspiration awaits when you click the links below:
I am adding my link to the challenge at Less is more, where we are to use DP in a CAS style.
Thanks for visiting me today... I can't wait to see how you will interpret the cue card this week!
Hugs
Hannelie

Laat my breed glimlag!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGroete, vrou en 'n heerlike Woensdag!!!
