Runway inspired # 91

Hi there!

What an awesome look on this week's inspiration photo over at the Runway inspired Challenge!

Bold . Beautiful. Graphic, with lots of black, white and gorgeous splashes of green and blue!

... oh and did I mention COOL? Totally . Check the model's attitude ;)

Source: Style.com

I tried to capture all of the above mentioned features in a quite literal approach this time.

Graphic you're awesome card - runway inspired

The chevrons was a black and white print from The Pixel scrapper. I colored the white parts with lime-green and cyan Promarkers.

I kept on looking for something in the outfit around which I could build my design . I then noticed the oval shaped buckle peeping from behind the jacket... and voilà!
I designed the buckle using my Silhouette programme by welding a strip into an oval frame.

 Easy peasy!

Added a square gem for a bit of pizzazz .

The 'awesome' part was cut using MF Wedding Bells font.
The 'you're' was created with the font Fashion victim (yes really!)

I created a digi for you to use:

I am also adding my link at Virginia's view challenge (Geometric patterns)

In one word, your card is "awesome". The bejeweled belt buckle steals the show, with the sentiment fonts coming in at a really close second! Thanks for sharing them with us!

  18. That blue and green herringbone pattern with the sassy sentiment on their own would be awesome but that blingin' belt buckle sends this in to the stratosphere! Love it!
