green and gold

Hi there!

Chrissie asked the question this week about what the colors green and gold bring to our minds... well... being South-African, the first thing that comes to my mind is sport! That's the colors of our national sport teams!

With the rugby world cup starting on the 18th of this month, I made a 'congrats' card for this week's challenge at Less is more , featuring a laurel wreath and banner, hoping for victory for the Springboks this year!

green and gold congrats card

The wreath is a clipart image I found here. I traced it in my Silhouette programme and used the negative of the cut layered over a lime green background.

The banner is from the Silhouette online store.

The Congrats is from Miss kate cuttables.

That's it for today... have a great week and thanks for the visit!

Jou kaartjie lyk pragtig!!!! Baie mooi!!!!
    Groete
Ek is darem nou amper weer heeltemal op datum met my blogbesoeke!!!!

  5. And green and gold are the colors of our (American) football team here in Wisconsin; the Green Bay Packers. Though, I'll admit, I like baseball much more! Love how your card reflects victory; laurel wreath and congratulatory banner. Great card! Have a great week sweet friend. Bev
