Summer hearts!

I have a card for 2 challenges today, one old favorite and a new one!

Cas-ual fridays

The cutting edge




I created a card in  Summer colors, translating the polka dots from the inspiration card at the Cutting edge, into hearts & drawing the colors from the focal point of the provided inspiration for the hearts.

Yellow and orange from the star and blue and green from the "rock" in the sentiment.

After I finished my card I just realized again that dimension is one of a (CAS) card maker's best friends!

Because let's be honest, take away the dimension provided by the popped up hearts and this card would have been very uninteresting! It almost looks as if the hearts are floating don't you think?!

This time a stamped sentiment ( Uniko Studio ) to finish off my card.

    This is stunning! I love the colourful hearts and wonderful way you have arranged them. It would have taken me forever to decide which colours to put next to each other!

    Hi, vrou, ek het nou vir twee of drie dae nie my feed van Bloglovin af gekry nie, so nou's ek weer bietjie agter, maar darem nou weer amper by almal uitgekom!!!
    Jou kaartjie is te skattig met al die hartjies wat so slim geplaas is!!! Ek hou van hoe jy die foto geinterpreteer het en ja, as jy jou goed op foam dots sit doen dit darem net iets vir jou kaartjie, ne!!! Jou sentiment is baie oulik gekies en baie goed geplaas!! Pragtige stukkie werk!!!
