You light up my life!

Hi there!

Time to join  some challenge fun!

A little out of my comfort zone today... resulting in yellow stained fingers. Note to self... next time when using  food coloring on a card... put on latex gloves!

I started off using water color paint, but by the time the 'grunge' was evident enough... the card stock was soaking wet! So out came the food coloring. And only a spray or 2 gave a great effect!

Other supplies :

Dry wall tape
Light bulb stencil (cut with Silhouette) & sponged with Versafine Onyx black.
Aquarelle card stock
My own digital sentiment ( cut out and popped up with dimensional tape )

You guessed the challenges, right?

Puik!! (soos altyd!!)

  6. I would say you're getting a lot of use out of your Cameo. This is a great card for both challenges.

  7. Another 'brilliant' idea Hannelie! I love the texture on the light bulb paper and of course, the drywall tape!

Food coloring...clever as ever! It creates a soft, water colored look :)

Thanks for the great sentiment :)

  15. Your sentiment caught my eye in the gallery. Had to come get a closer look. Fabulous, as usual. Can't believe the coverage you got with your Versafine.
