Hi there!
Don't you just love it when a mistake on a card forces you to "take 2"... and the second try looks much better than the first?
Well this is what happened today... I am not going to bore you with the details, but I am happy with the result!
I used my peacock pleasure embossing folder (Couture creations) as a "stamp" as described here at Splitcoaststampers.
Instead of using distress ink, I used my aqua brush markers to apply the color on only a selected part of the folder , before I misted the folder with water.
I added my digital sentiment after the card stock was completely dry.
The card was inspired by the following challenges:
Casology ~ SPLASH
The offset circles of the embossing folder reminded me of the ripple effect in the water after a big splash !
Keep it simple ~ WATERCOLOR
Watercolor is a great technique to use in a splash themed card!
You are welcome to use my sentiment!
Thanks so much for visiting me today!
