Better days ahead!

Hi there!

I have a card to show for a few challenges!

The card concept ~ use an umbrella on your card.
Crafters cafe  ~ CAS
Incy wincy designs  ~ CAS
Lexis creations  ~ Focus on the sentiment
Word art Wednesday  ~ Anything goes
Southern girls challenge ~ Earn your stripes

I created my card in the clean and graphic style

I used inlaid letters cut with my Silhouette for the 'smile' , and the 'better days ahead' part was printed , and cut with my Silhouette, then popped up.

I printed the pinstripes, again from Mel, and colored between the black lines with my promarkers.

My card is based on the sentiment below, which I created, and you are welcome to use!

I would love to see your project using it!

Thanks for visiting me today!

  32. What a wonderful card AND sentiment design! Timing for your kind offer and inspiration is perfect - my son goes in for surgery at the end of the month (April 2015) and will have 6 weeks of recuperation. Perhaps I'll try reversing the color on my printer- I know there's that capability, I've just never tried it before. If not, I'll go with something other than a black bacground.
