Rugby inspired birthday card.

Hi there!

Our nephew will be celebrating his 10th birthday soon... he loves playing rugby, so with the help of my Silhouette, I made him a shaped card.




Font used to design the '10' ~ Cooper Black.
For the rugby ball, I traced a clip art shape found on the net, and added the stitching with a fine liner marker pen.

Challenges:


Keep it simple challenge ~ inspired by ... {rugby}
Crazy for CAS ~ card for a child
Seize the birthday  ~ anything goes birthday

    Hi Hannelie,
    ik heb gelezen dat je het Nederlands redelijk kunt begrijpen. Ik type mijn berichtje daarom nu in het Nederlands. (mijn Engels is slecht!). Onze talen lijken inderdaad op elkaar. Erg leuke kaart heb je weer gemaakt! Fijn dat je weer meedoet bij CFC.

    Als het te moeilijk is om te lezen: laat het me weten, dan type ik volgende keer weer in Engels.

    Ag ja, ons Suid-Afrikaners is mos maar rugbymense en ek kan net dink hoe opgewonde 'n 10-jarige seun oor hierdie kaartjie gaan wees, vrou!! Ek's mal oor die kleure wat jy gebruik het!! Dis weer 'n ster-skepping!!!

    Yep...definitely another winner! Colors are fabulous! The texture that you created to imitate the leather is amazing. LOVE the "buckled" sentiment. Your nephew is going to LOVE THIS CARD!!! You will definitely be his favorite aunty (although I suspect you likely already are)
