Hi there!
There's a hexagon challenge going on at Crazy for CAS!
I made 2 cards featuring hexagons.
The first one I would say my more familiar style. I have cut the (white) background with my Silhouette, and colored the cut out parts with Promarkers, using the colors from Cas colours and sketches . Adding a stamped sentiment.
For the second card I used the left over background from the first card as a mask. Sponged with distress inks and added 3 stamped flowers and a sentiment in Afrikaans.
Thanks for looking!
Have a great day!
Ooh I love both of these, great cards Hannelie. There are so many challenges I keep hearing about, will have to add this to my long list! xx
ReplyDeleteTwo totally different feels to the card...love the striking colors in the first and the subtleness of the second.
ReplyDeleteOh cool! Can't decide which I like more; both are very cool! Excellent sponging. Love those blues and reds against that gray too. Great cards, Hannelie. Love them. Bev
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are wonderful! Love how you made to distinctly different feeling cards with the same design! Thanks for joining us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards Hannelie!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much For joining us at CFC.
Beautiful cards. Love the second card, nice color. Thanks for joining CFC.
ReplyDeleteOoh, such clever use of the same background, Hannelie ... love the first, graphic one with the bold colours ... the second is so pretty, with the soft inking and lovely lavender! Anita :)
These are so pretty and not to say... you are a master in graphic cards :)
ReplyDeleteThe way you've opened up some of the hexagons is a fun interesting touch! You did a wonderful job with our challenge colors from CAS - Colours and Sketches. Thanks for joining in our challenge! The sponged card shows another great look.
ReplyDeleteP.S. The way you have your comment form set up doesn't allow me to enter my blog address so I hope you don't mind me putting it here: http://thinkingofinking.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com
