Guest designing at the Dutch card Lovers challenge!

Hi there!

A few weeks ago, I discovered the Dutch Card Lovers challenge blog... or should I rather say that Angele discovered a card of mine and kindly directed me to their challenge, where I linked my card... and won their flower challenge with THIS card.

Since then, I made a lot of new blog friends! These ladies made me feel at home from the start! Did you know that Dutch and Afrikaans are so similar that I can easily understand (and enjoy) their comments in Dutch! Such a treat... I just love it!

Thank you all for your kindness!

If you haven't played along... come on over and be inspired... all styles welcome!

On to my card!

It is a color challenge this week.

Use at least 5 of the above colors on your card. I never thought I'd manage this... but ended up by using 6!!!! of the colors on my card. I surprised myself ;)

I used scraps to cut the letters and background with my silhouette... not so difficult as I thought!

Hope to see you play along! { if you don't understand Dutch... there's always Google translate ;) }

Thanks ladies for inviting me!
Have a great day!

  11. First of all, a huge congrats on your win at this new found blog - your card was stunning and so deserving!

    Wow - great way to incorporate SIX colors on one card! It looks great with the varying size/types of polka dots!

    Which fonts did you use for "happy" - I love the soft "blockyness".
