The wheels of the bus go round and round...

Hi there!

I can't remember when last I had so much fun making a card!

I really had no intention of making (another) back to school card, but just couldn't  sleep last night, and don't know why, I dreamed up this image of a big yellow school bus... and a card was born!

The fun bit comes in because the bus was  made up only by squares with rounded corners.
The kiddies are dingbats (font) found here and here.
A few colored gems were very handy rear lights and indicators.



... can't remember my kids going back to school with smiles THAT big however!

    ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! This is so creative and so cute! Love the dingbat kids. My kids NEVER had smiles this big either...except when the recess bell rang!

    Ooo, hoe laat dit my nou weer dink aan die dae toe my kinders klein was en ek oor en oor (met my vals stem!) vir hulle die liedjie gesing het!! Dit was groot pret en jou kaartjie is net so prettig!! Dis alweer verskriklik oorspronklik en so, so slim gedoen!! (en ja, my kinders het ook nie altyd sulke smiles op hulle gesigte wanneer dit terug skooltoe is nie!!) Ek's mal oor daai vrolike liggies ook!! Regtig ougat!!
